The club would like to acknowledge the Roleystone-Karragullen Bendigo Bank who have again agreed to another 2 year team sponsorship which will enable us to get all new shirts for the "Bendigo Braves" Under 9's team as well as existing team sponsors Roleystone IGA, Roleystone Community Chemist, Creative Driveways & Fencing, WJ & KS Auto, Drill Rigs Australia and of course our Major Sponsors Roleystone Real Estate. The sponsorship we get from these local businesses is invaluable to our club so please support these businesses whenever possible.

In addition to the 'Telstra Grant' we received last month the club has also been successful in securing a Healthway, Healthy Club Sponsorship grant, which will be used to assist with coaching courses and purchasing all new safety equipment for the U8 teams (batting helmets, pitchers helmets & chest protectors). This has allowed the club to donated surplus Teeball/baseball gear and old uniforms as part of a care package South Africa. The care package will supplement a club who currently has one bat for the entire club. |

Roleystone Teeball and Little League teams kicked off their seasons mid October with U8's teeball being played Saturdays at Springdale Park, U9-U13's teeball down at AK Strikers ground in Armadale and the Little League team playing Wednesdays on a home and away season.
In their first game the Little League team put up a great fight but went down 11-8 to AK Strikers. The team played extremely well and were well supported with pitchers Harry Conlin, Dylan Taylor and Matthew Sandiford. First time player David Lori produced the hit of the game and Kayn Millersmith and Keanu Mills showed some good disciplined base running to score at the conclusion of the game.
In the photo are six enthusiastic Roleystone kids who have attended the Perth Heat Tee-ball camps.

May I take this opportunity to remind parents that all of our Coaches, Umpires and Committee Members are volunteers and should be shown some respect and maybe given some praise from time to time. Not that we get many complaints from parents but if you do have one please leave it until after the game and away from the diamond. Any issues should be raised with the Club President, Vice President or Secretary. As all these people are very busy on game day it would probably be better to speak to one of them at the end of the days play or even later on in the week. All Committee contacts can be found in this newsletter or on the Club website.

I think you will agree that this is another intricate part of any sporting and community group. There are so many big or small ways that you can show your support, ring the Club's President Sandy Johnson on 094963572/0419875277 and ask how you can have your name out there and included on the Club website.
