However, the committee is lacking some members after a disappointing number of nominations at the March AGM.

In particular, there are vacancies for: President, Teeball Delegate, Umpire Coordinator, Grants Officer, Canteen Manager, Website Manager, First Aid Officer and Teeball States Representative.

New Vice President Jodie Hansen urged parents of under-8 and under-6 teeballers to nominate for a position.

"The younger kids are the future of the Roleystone Teeball and Baseball Club and the reality is, unless people come forward to take up a role, the club will go backwards," Mrs Hansen said.

"Many hands make light work, as the saying goes, and while we are delighted to have some new faces on the committee, we need more to continue the excellent work of the previous committee."

"It would be a disaster if the club wasn't able to provide children with the local teeball and baseball opportunities they deserve because parents weren't able to find a few hours to volunteer or assist."

"We would be thrilled to welcome any teeball parent onto the committee - previous experience not required."
